The JCCW Returns

OK, so after almost three months of silence and not one but TWO moves--the latest to Ann Arbor, MI, where the focus on the Big 10 is already starting to bug me--the JCCW has regular internet access again and will resume posting shortly.

First up? Birmingham-Southern's decision to drop down to NCAA Division III, which, as you might imagine, I have some decidely mixed feelings about. I'll get into what that means for the ol' alma mater and for the site later this week.

I've been looking forward to get a Birmingham-Southern's fan's perspective on the last few weeks. From my end, it just looks like BSC made a poor decision to go to Division I in the first place (from a pure financial point of view, not from a competitive standpoint)...

I'm disappointed to see Birmingham-Southern drop down. I understand the financial implications, but the Big South loses a quality competitor.

Jeremy: Yep. Doesn't make it any easier to take, of course.
